Fire breaks out in Maharashtra's Palghar factory; three dead

Three people dead and five injured in a fire incident in Maharashtra's Palghar chemical factory in the wee hours of Thursday. The chemical factory is located in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) are in Tarapur town of Palghar district.

Speaking to media on Friday early morning, Palghar District Collector Prashant Narnaware said that Fire force's attempt to extinguish the fire was continuing. "Around 11.30 we came to know about the fire incident. Police machinery, revenue machinery, and health machinery have been summoned and they work in coordination. " Narnaware said.

Seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire, which was said to be started from a nearby chemical factory. In the inferno, two nearby factories also had reportedly turned into ashes.
