Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday said the Government is not ready to probe against Binoy Kodiyeri, who allegedly involved in a financial fraud case in Dubai.
The Chief Minister said this in the Assembly when Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala, who raised the issue through a submission, demanded a probe against Binoy, who is the son of CPI (M) State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan.
There were serious allegations against MLA Vijayan Pillai's son and the son of Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Ramesh Chennithala added.
It was alleged that the son of the party secretary has appropriated Rs 13 crore from a Dubai based tourism company in two instalments. Though the company approached the CPI(M) leader through intermediaries, the amount was not paid back.
The Chief Minister said the cheating case is not affected the Government and it is an issue between two individuals. The Government has also not received any complaint in this regard from anybody, he added. Binoy, who has been working in the Gulf, has also clarified that he had not done any mistake, Vijayan said.
