The Shiv Sena on Monday rebuffed the claim of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis that the law and order situation in the state was under control, saying it rings hollow as most of culprits in the Kamala Mills compound fire tragedy here are still at large.
The Sena in an edit of the party mouthpiece 'Saamna' raised questions about the arrest of a pub owner in the Kamala Mills area which claimed 14 lives and asked why there is a delay in booking other owner of the pub from where fire started.
The edit also raised questions about the pressure being alleged by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) commissioner Ajoy Mehta and said the commissioner is working under the government.
"Then, the question is who is pressurising commissioner?" it asked.
