The dense layer of toxic smog on Sunday returned to the National Capital, ending the short relief Delhiites had from the choking haze in the last two days.
According to System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), the air quality in Delhi is severe. The worst-affected areas are Dhirpur, Pitampura, Delhi University, Pusa, Lodji Road, Airport T3, Mathura Road and Ayanagar.
The Delhi Government on Saturday also called off the 'controversial' Odd-Even scheme, which was to be implemented from Monday, following the National Green Tribunal's refusal to grant exemption from the scheme to women and two-wheelers.
The government will again knock the doors of the green court on Monday, requesting the former to reconsider its decision over including women and two-wheelers in the scheme.
