Maharashtra State Transport Corporation (MSRTC) indefinite strike hich entered second day on Wednesday paralysed normal life in entire Marathwada region as well as across the state.
The strike call was given by the, Joint Action Committee comprising S T Workers union along with Trade Union Congress (INTUC) and others employees unions pressing for their main demand to implement the seventh pay commission. Sources claimed that strike was 100 per cent success in the state and adamant on their demands.
More than 4000 buses in all the eight disticts Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed, Osmanabad, Nanded, Hingoli, Parbhani and Latur seen parked in their depots which took deserted look and incurred estimated loss of near about Rs 4 cr in the region.
Sources also said that some employees who had tried to resume their works were barred by the agitators.
