6 injured in militant grenade attack in Kashmir

At six people, including some police personnel, were injured in a militant grenade attack in Tral, about 35 km from here in south Kashmir district of Pulwama today.

The condition of one of the injured is stated to be critical, a CRPF spokesman said. Militants hurled a hand grenade on a police party near Bus Stand, Tral. At least six people, including some police personnel were injured in the grenade blast, sound of which was heard in the entire area, forcing people to run for safety. The injured were rushed to hospital, he said adding the condition of one of them is stated to be critical. The area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation has been launched to nab the militants responsible for the attack.
