Pennews

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today said that he is ready for a debate on corruption with former Chief Minister and BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa as the latter allegedly involved him. "I accept the challenge posed by Yeddyurappa, but let him first release the details about corruption involving me with supporting documents," he added.

Yeddyurappa had yesterday told newsmen here that " Siddaramaiah is claiming himself as clean and neat politician, but I will expose his misdeeds, his corruption and illegal activities in the form of chargesheet within next four days." Referring to Yeddyurappa's statement that AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi will never become Prime Minister, Siddaramaiah told newsmen here that "it is a childish in nature.

Yeddyurappa should know at what age Rajiv Gandhi became Prime Minister." About probe by Special Investigation Team (SIT) into murder of Journalist-activist Gauri Lankesh, Siddaramaiah said that the team is already on the job and it is not correct to reveal the details as it may hamper investigation.
