Official sources said that there were no restrictions in any parts of Pulwama district though security forces remained deployed in strength to maintain law and order.
Train service between Srinagar-to Banihal in Jammu region, via south Kashmir, was running normally. However, shops and business establishments, which remain open on Sundays, were closed and traffic was off the road in parts of the district, including main townsPulwama, Kakpora, Murran, Tahab and Gongoo.Meanwhile, mobile internet service of all cellular companies, including Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), remained suspended since yesterday morning in the district as a precautionary measure to prevent spread of any rumours.
