The Admission Supervisory Committee has fixed the fees for admission to self-financing medical colleges in Kerala. The admission fee is Rs 5.5 lakh. Managements Association of self-financing colleges took strong exception to the fee fixed which their spokesman said was unfair and unjustified. The association had demanded admission fee of Rs 20 lakh. Unless it is enhanced to Rs 8 lakh per student, the association has threatened to challenge the decision in the court.
