Chandigarh, Mar 4 : Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has approved to increase the amount of daily diet money given to the state players from Rs 150 to Rs 250. It is estimated that about 40000 players of the state will be benefited by the approval.
Sharing more information about the same, Haryana Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs Sandeep Singh said that a nutritious diet is very important for a player to give his best performance. He said that in the years 2012, a diet amount of Rs 150 was fixed for the players participating in various sports events organized by the Sports and Youth Affairs department.
He said that that he had requested the Chief Minister to increase the diet money and the approval for the same have been given today. (UNI)
