Kolkata, Feb 10: Shah Rukh Khan-owned Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday announced the appointment of former England wicket-keeper James Foster for the 13th season of the Indian Premier League beginning in March 2020.

Thirty-nine-year James Savin Foster is a former cricketer, a wicket-keeper who played seven Tests and 11 One Day Internationals for England in 2001–02 and 2002–03. Foster will replace ex-Assam cricketer Subhadeep Ghosh, who had joined the franchise before the last edition.

Foster will be under head coach and former New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum, who replaced Jaques Kallis. (UNI)
