Mumbai, Jan 18 : The BCCI on Saturday invited fresh applications for the post of national selectors for the senior and junior Indian men's teams and senior women's team. Two positions to be filled in the senior panel vacated by incumbent chairman MSK Prasad and his colleague Gagan Khoda and two positions are open for junior selection committees while all five positions are open in the women's committee.
The basic criteria for all three categories is that the candidate should have retired from the game at least five years ago. For senior men, the candidate should have also played 7 Test matches or 30 first-class matches or 10 ODIs and 20 first-class matches. For the junior selection committee, the candidate should have played 25 first-class matches. Meanwhile, the last date for submission is January 24. For the senior women's team, even one international game for India is a good enough qualification. (UNI)
