Doha, Nov 8: Indian shooter Chinki Yadav secured 11th Tokyo Olympic quota for the country in shooting after entering the women's 25m Pistol final at the 14th Asian Championships, here on Friday.
Chinki shot 296 to register a total of 588, finishing behind Thailand's Naphaswan Yangpainboon, who shot 590 in the qualifications.
The 21 year old will now compete in the eight-woman final, later in the day.
This is the India's second quota spot in 25m pistol event after Rahi Sarnobat won the first at the ISSF World Cup in Munich, earlier this year.
Meanwhile, the likes of Annu Raj Singh (575) and Neeraj Kaur (572) finished 21st and 27th respectively.
In the MQS category, Sarnobat and Manu Bhaker, who have both sealed their Tokyo quotas, scored a solid 589 and 584 respectively. (UNI)
