Luis Suarez’s volley against Inter Milan in Wednesday’s 2-1 win at the Camp Nou has been named the Champions League goal of the week.
Luis Suarez came to Barcelona‘s rescue at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night as his two goals led the Spanish outfit to a 2-1 victory over Inter Milan in the Champions League. Out of these two goals, the first one which he made on 58th minute has now been considered as the Champions League goal of the week.
When the play began, Barcelona found themselves 1-0 down within just two minutes after Lautaro Martinez put Antonio Conte’s Inter in front. In the second half, the Uruguayan, Suarez smashed home Arturo Vidal’s pass to level the match. The goal realized from an unbelievable volley.
Suarez went on to win the game late on for the hosts after a brilliant bit of play from returning captain Lionel Messi. The Barcelona striker, Suarez was chosen for the award beating competition from Liverpool’s Sadio Mane and Bayern duo Joshua Kimmich and Serge Gnabry.
