Santaigo, Oct 4 : Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal and Eibar winger Fabian Orellana have returned to Chile's national squad for friendlies against Colombia and Guinea, the country's football association said.
Both players missed friendlies against Argentina and Honduras last month because of fitness concerns but have since impressed for their respective clubs. Head coach Reinaldo Rueda on Thursday also included Claudio Bravo despite the goalkeeper's lack of opportunities for Manchester City this season.
Chile will play Colombia at Estadio Jose Rico Perez in Alicante, Spain, on October 12 and Guinea at the same venue three days later. The matches will be one of the last chances for Rueda to test his players before the South American zone's 2022 World Cup qualifiers begin next March.
