India’s 3rd ODI against West Indies on Wednesday will be crucial for wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav as he is going to break a rare feat. Kuldeep has already scalped 96 wickets in 53 ODIs and a four-wicket haul will help him become the fastest Indian to the feat of 100 ODI wickets. For the last many months, Kuldeep was looking to own the record of fastest 100-wicket in his kitty.
But a disappointing performance in the 2019 ICC World Cup did not help him to reach the record mark. He got only 6 wickets from 7 matches. At present, the fastest Indian bowler with 100 wicket is with Mohammed Shami who owned this record from 56 matches. If 54th match helped to take four wickets, it will be a ever-memorable match for Kuldeep. (With agency input)
