England cricketer David Lloyd was trolled on Monday for making fun of Indian wicket keeper MS Dhoni’s decision to train with Indian Army for two months and stay unavailable for the upcoming tour of West Indies.
While MS Dhoni's decision to serve time in the military is being hailed by Indian cricket fans, former England cricketer David Lloyd used a laughing emoji on his tweet saying ‘after it was revealed that MS Dhoni will not be a part of the Indian squad’.
MS Dhoni took a time out of two months to train with the Territorial Army battalion of the parachute regiment. After India's semi-final exit in the recently concluded World Cup 2019, speculation started to grow regarding MS Dhoni's retirement. However, Dhoni’s Manager rejected this rumour. Dhoni’s was dropped from Indian squad for West Indies tour. Crushing Dhoni’s future hopes, MSK Prasad, Chief Selector of Indian team, categorically said the Rishabh Pant would be the lone wicketkeeper-batsman in the limited overs format.
