Wriddhiman Saha, Rohit Sharma have been included in the Indian Test squad for the upcoming tour of the West Indies which starts from August 3 in Florida.
Jasprit Bumrah and all-round Hardik Pandya have been rested from the limited-overs series. Wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant is a part of the ODI, T20I and Test squads along with Kohli and Rohit. MS Dhoni was dropped after the former captain made himself unavailable for the next two months.
The MSK Prasad-led selection panel of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday announced the separate Indian squads for ODIs, T20Is and Tests separately. India will play 3 T20s, 3 ODIs and 2 Tests against West Indies in the Caribbean. India's tour will kick-off with the 1st T20I in Florida on August 3, followed by a 2-Test rubber beginning on August 22.
Rohit Sharma has been brought back in the Test squad while Jasprit Bumrah has been rested from the limited-overs series along with all-rounder Hardik Pandya.
Virat Kohli will lead the team in all three series after the captain made himself available for the full tour. It was initially reported that Kohli would be rested for the limited-overs series but the 30-year-old has decided to play all three formats in the West Indies.

The selectors have also picked Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav as the spinners for the Test series.

Wriddhiman Saha will rejoin the Test side after a gap of more than a year. The West Indies tour will also be a litmus test for coach Ravi Shastri after India's exit in the semi-final stage of the World Cup 2019. The performance of the team in West Indies will play a role in deciding if Shastri is handed an extension.
