Cairo, Jul 12 : Tunisia trounced debutants Madagascar 3-0 here on Thursday night to reach the semifinals of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.

Tunisian forward Youssef Msakni scored the second in the 60th minute through a follow-up strike after forward Wahbi Khazri's shot inside the box was blocked by Madagascar's goalkeeper.

The third was scored from a shot inside the box by midfielder Naim Sliti from an assist by Khazri in injury time.
