Calgary (Canada), Jul 7 : Continuing his brilliant run, Indian shuttler Parupalli Kashyap defeated fourth seed Wang Tzu-wei of Taiwan to enter the men’s singles final of 75000 Canada Open Super 100 tournament at Markin-MacPhail Centre in Canada.
After going down in the first set, Kashyap made a great comeback to beat Tzu-wei 14-21, 21-17, 21-18 in a three set thriller that lasted an hour and 10 minutes on Saturday night.

With this win, Kashyap extended his head-to-head record against Wang to 3-0. He defeated the World No 30 at the India Open in March earlier this year.
P Kashyap will now face unseeded Li Shi Feng of China in the finals who defeated Koki Watanabe of Japan 20-22 21-10 21-11 in the other semi-final. (UNI)
