Chennai, June 29 : It will be an all Indian final in the boy's Under-19 event of the Asian Junior Squash championship being held at Macau.
A release from SRFI here said Veer Chotrani, 9/16 seed, and Yash Fadte, the 5/8 seed, will contest for the title on Sunday. Both of them won their semifinal contests defeating Pakistan players.
It was a memorable Saturday for India as two others, Neel Joshi in the U-17 boys' section and Yuvna Gupta in the U-15 section too made it to the final to ensure India had a rich collection of medals in this year's event, as compared to one gold, one silver and four bronzes, won last year in Chennai.
The biggest surprises of the day came in the U-19 section where Veer continuing with his good form fought his way past Pakistani Harish Qasim in four games.
Yash Fadte on the other hand had a bigger task beating unseeded Hamza Sharif, also of Pakistan.
