With the loss of Kedar Jadhav, India lost four wickets in the match against West Indies at Old Trafford Cricket Ground on Thursday in the World Cup 2019 before completing 30 overs.
Indian captain Virat Kohli, who plays a cautious game, made a half century off 57 balls which includes six boundaries. Vijay Shankar also lost his wicket when his score reached at 14.
India is now at 148 after 30 overs. West Indies pacer Khemar Roach became lethal by scalping three wickets of Rohit Sharma, Vijay Shankar and Kedar Jadhav.
India loss second wicket; Rahul falls at 48
India lost its second precious wicket of opener KL Rahul before he made a half-ton against West Indies at Old Trafford Cricket Ground on Thursday in the World Cup 2019.
KL Rahul was clean bowled by Jason Holder when he made 48 runs off 61 balls. India is now at 98 for two. KL Rahul and Indian skipper Virat Kohli stiched up a partnership of 50 between the two. With this, India could stop an early disaster though lost Rohit Sharma's wicket early, but soon India lost its second wicket.
Virat Kohli is now at crease with 25 off 27 balls.
