West Indies and Bangladesh will come face to face in World Cup 2019 today. Two teams desperately need a win to salvage their campaign and keep their chances of making the semi-finals alive. Both Bangladesh and West Indies have shown promise, have had their moments so far in the World Cup but haven't been able to turn it into something substantial.
Both teams have so far played four games and are on three points each. West Indies are sixth on the points table with two losses, one win and a washed out encounter. Bangladesh, eighth on the points table have also lost two encounters, won one and had a game washed out.
Windies had gone off to a great start at the World Cup. A win over Pakistan prompted many to wonder if the side can be termed as the dark horses of the tournament. But things have changed for the side since then.
Bangladesh also had a fantastic start to the tournament, defeating South Africa in their opening contest. With the win, many started expecting that the side could produce a few more upsets in the tournament. But since then, things have gone downhill for the Lions.
Bangladesh will have the psychological advantage when they face West Indies though both teams are sailing in the same boat as far as their World Cup campaign is concerned.
