Southampton, Jun 14: Joe Root brillaint century 100 off 94 not out (11 fours), Jonny Bairstow 45 off 46, Archer 3/30 and Wood 3/18 helped England hammer West Indies by 8 wickets in the ICC Cricket World Cup here on Friday.
Joe Root 100 and Ben Stokes 10 reamined not out till the end and chased 213 target in just 33.1 overs.
With this win England who were earlier at 4th spot from 3 matches with 4 points pipped Australia taking 2nd spot earning 6 points from 4 matches. While New Zealand stay at top from 4 matches with 7 points.
India who were at third spot have slided to fourth spot earning 5 points from 3 matches. Australia are at third spot from 4 matches have 6 points.
