Rain threat to India-NZ match looms

Threat of heavy rains looms large over Nottingham and are likely to delay the start of the match between India and New Zealand in ICC World Cup 2019 at Trent Bridge on Thursday.

Nottingham has been under a yellow alert since Monday, casting doubts over India’s third World Cup game against New Zealand. There is much apprehension in the air on whether the game will take off today.

The Indian team was forced to limit their practice session to mere throwdowns on the eve of the New Zealand encounter due to the gloomy weather and wet patches in the outfield.
