Rio de Janeiro, May 20: Former Brazil international striker Vagner Love scored his first goal of the Brazilian Serie A season as Corinthians secured a 2-0 win at Athletico Paranaense.
Love struck with a 14th-minute header at Arena da Baixada in Curitiba before Pedrinho pounced on a defensive error to nod in the visitors' second goal three minutes from time on Sunday.

Corinthians moved to eighth in the 20-team standings with eight points from five matches while Athletico Paranaense dropped to 10th, one point behind.
In Porto Alegre, Nonato and Edenilson scored in each half to hand Internacional a 2-0 home win over CSA. Internacional climbed to fifth in the standings with nine points, six points more than 18th-placed CSA.

In other matches on Sunday, Bahia drew 0-0 at Sao Paulo, Goias won 1-0 at home to Botafogo, Fortaleza won 3-1 at Chapecoense, Vasco da Gama were held to a 1-1 home draw by Avai and Ceara secured a 1-0 home win over Gremio.(UNI)
