New Delhi, Apr 12 : South Africa fast bowler Dale Steyn will replace injured Nathan Coulter-Nile for the remainder of the ongoing IPL season, RCB team management confirmed on Friday. S African Pacer went unsold at the auction but will play now an IPL game after a two-year gap. He last played in the league for Gujarat Lions in IPL 2016. However, according to the RCB team management, Steyn will only be available from April 16, which means he will not feature in RCB's next two games - against KXIP on April 13 and MI on April 15.
Earlier, Steyn represented RCB from 2008 to 2010 and also took 27 wickets from 28 games. In 2019, Steyn has been in great form for S Africa in their series against Pakistan and Sri Lanka. RCB will be hoping to see a change of fortune in their ongoing IPL campaign after Steyn's inclusion. (UNI)
