New Delhi, Apr 4 : Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) thrashed Delhi Capitals (DC) by five wickets in the 16th Indian Premier League (IPL) match, here at Feroz Shah Kotla Ground on Thursday.
SRH skipper Bhuvneshwar Kumar won the toss and put the home side to bat first. SRH restricted DC to a meagre 129/8 in 20 overs. The visitors achieved the target with 9 balls to spare.
With the virtue of this win, SRH completed their hat-trick of win in the ongoing 12th edition of IPL. This was SRH's fourth match. On the other hand, it was DC's third defeat in five matches.
Jonny Bairstow was the highest run-scorer from SRH with 48 runs off 28 balls, followed by Mohammad Nabi's unbeaten 17 runs. Nabi also took two wickets for 21 runs in four overs.UNI
