New Delhi, Apr 3: Delhi Capitals(DC) would look to sort out their batting woes and seek for consistency as they face rampaging Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 16th match of the ongoing IPL season at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium on Thursday.

DC started their campaign with a superb win over three-time former champions Mumbai Indians but since then their lower-order batsmen have struggled to finish the job. In the last match against Kings XI Punjab, Delhi Capitals was almost near to the victory when they needed only 21 runs from 23 balls but eventually they ended up losing the game. They lost eight wickets for only seven runs.

The Delhi Capitals had done the same against Kolkata Knight Riders but it was Rabada's brilliant bowling which helped Delhi to win by three runs.
Rishabh Pant, who played a superb knock of 78 to post a mammoth 213 against Mumbai in the first match, has been the highest run-scorer for Delhi while the likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Iyer and Colin Ingram too have contributed with the bat.

The bowling department has been led by Rabada, while they also have Kiwi pacer Trent Boult and Ishant Sharma in their ranks. Young Nepalese leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane too has performed well so far for Delhi.
On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad has been in sublime form. The Orange army has won their previous two matches and would be confident of getting past Delhi Capitals and have a hat-trick of wins.

The pair of Warner and Bairstow have been in scintillating form this year, having century-plus opening stands in all their three matches so far.
In the last game, both Warner (100 not out) and Bairstow (114) blasted a century each as Sunrisers had a massive 118-run win over RCB. In Sunrisers’ bowling department , Afghanistan spin duo of Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan would look to do the maximum damage, while pacer Sandeep Sharma too has done well with four wickets.

However, Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s death bowling performance has been a major concern for Sunrisers. Delhi is at fifth position with four points in the eight team standings while Sunrisers Hyderabad with same point is placed at third position. So far, both the teams have won two match each.UNI
