Chennai, Mar 21: In a touching gesture, Chennai Super Kings will donate proceeds from their first IPL home game against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Saturday to the families of the CRPF personnel martyred in the Pulwama attack.
'CSK Captain MS Dhoni, who is honorary Lt. Colonel of the Indian territorial army, will present the cheque to the families of the victims of Pulwama Attack !", said Rakesh Singh, Director of CSK on twitter on Wednesday.
Tickets to the much-awaited game between defending champion CSK and RCB were sold out within hours of the opening day sale.
Earlier, Indian cricketers recently wore special army caps during the third ODI against Australia as a mark of respect and also donated their match fee to the National Defence Fund. (UNI)
