New Delhi, Mar 13 : Australia won the toss and decided to bat first against India in the fifth and the final One-Day International here at the Feroz Shah Kotla Ground on Wednesday.
The series is tied at 2-2. The visitors won the last match by six wickets. This is India’s fifth ODI against Australia at Kotla. Of these four, India have won three, while lost one.
After winning the toss, Virat Kohli said, 'We would have batted first too. The toss is not controllable so it's okay. This is a knockout game for us so we need to do well. We are one of the best chasing team in the world so we have to show that.'
'We're close to figuring out our final 11 for the World Cup. In terms of the team, composition and balance, we have that. I think this team is the closest we are coming to the team that will be playing in the World Cup. Chahal misses out, Jadeja comes in. Rahul misses out, Shami comes in, he added.
Aaron Finch said, 'Batting first. Looks like a dry wicket. Hopefully, we can get a big score and defend it later. The wicket and the squares have been re-laid over the last few years, so we can't look into the numbers much. Shaun Marsh misses out for Stoinis, Lyon comes in for Behrendorrf.'
