A scintillating century from Virat Kohli has driven Indian score past 230 after 45 overs in the Second ODI against Australia on Tuesday.
When Ravindra Jadeja (18) was caught by Usman Khawaja off Pat Cummins, India is now at 238/7. Earlier India got off a bad by losing early wickets of Rohit Sharma (0) and Shikhar Dhawan (21). Though Kohli tried to make a third wicket partnership, it failed as Ambati Rayudu lost his wicket at 18. Then Kohli could stitch a solid fourth wicket partnership with Vijay Shankar (46) which helped to drive India’s score past 150.
Unfortunately, Vijay Shankar(46) returned with a run out by Adam Zampa. Soon, Kedar Jadhav(11) also caught by Aaron Finch off Adam Zampa.
Earlier,winning the toss, Australia sent India for batting. For Australia Pat Cummins, Adam Zampa, Nathan Lyon and Glenn Maxwell picked one wicket each. In the five ODI series India is now leading with 1-0.
