All the three players, he said, are in the race for the team being selected for the World Cup.
During an interview on Sunday, the chief selector said, 'The International Cricket Council (ICC) has fixed the last date for the announcement of the 15-member team for the World Cup and considering that Indian selectors are keeping an eye on each player and before the final date, the 15-member Indian team will be announced. "
Asked about Pant, he said, "If Pant is an explosive batter, Vijay Shankar is also being seen as an all-rounder besides the batsman. During this New Zealand series, Vijay has impressed everyone with his brilliant performance and strengthen his bid for the World Cup. " (UNI)
