New Zealand set 159 runs winning target before India

New Zealand have set before India a winning target of 159 runs in the second second T20 at Eden Park on Friday.

Earlier, batting first, New Zealand made 158 runs for 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Though got off to a bad start, later both Ross Taylor (42) and Colin de Garndhomme(50) have built a fifth wicket partnership to guide host to a better score of 158.

At one stage, New Zealand were struggling against India at 66/4 in the Krunal Pandya's lethal bowling attack crushed New Zealand top order. Krunal scalped three wickets viz. Kane Williamson (20), Colin Munro (12), and Daryl Mitchell (1). Bhuvaneshwar Kumar got one wicket. Khaleel Ahmed picked three wickets.

New Zealand have won the toss and opted to bat first. Both the teams remain unchanged.
