India got off to a better start in their chase of a winning target of 244 runs against New Zealand and now at 93/1 after 20 overs in the third ODI at Bay Oval stadium Mount Maunganui on Monday.
India lost the wicket of Shikhar Dhawan who was caught by Ross Taylor off Trent Boult by 28 runs off 27 balls. After this, captain Virat Kohli(33) is building a second wicket partnership with Rohit Sharma(43).
Earlier, New Zealand, who bat first, finished their innings with 243 runs. With the 119 run fourth wicket partnership between Ross Taylor(93) and Tom Latham(51) New Zealand could reach at a competitive score of 243 off 49 overs against India.
