Half century came off 63 balls which include 3 boundaries and one sixer. The second wicket partnership between Kohli (37)and Rohit Sharma(51) has crossed 50 runs. India lost the wicket of Shikhar Dhawan who was caught by Ross Taylor off Trent Boult by 28 runs off 27 balls.
Earlier, New Zealand, who bat first, finished their innings with 243 runs. With the 119 run fourth wicket partnership between Ross Taylor(93) and Tom Latham(51) New Zealand could reach at a competitive score of 243 off 49 overs against India.
