Australia came out of the early shocks and was now building up score(201/5) with the solid stand of Shaun Marsh (92) in the second one day international against India at Adelaide Oval on Tuesday. Shaun Marsh is inching towards a century.
Australia got to a bad start (26/2) at the beginning by losing early wickets of Aaron Finch and A Carey. While Bhuvaneshwar Kumar bowled Aaron Finch, Mohammed Shami got the wicket of A Carey. Then Shaun Marsh came to give stablility to Australian innings. Usman Khawaja’s, who was building an early partnership with Shaun Marsh, run out by Ravindra Jadeja was a big shock for Australia. Ravindra Jadeja's direct hit to send back Usman Khawaja broke his 56-run stand with Shaun Marsh. At that stage Australia was struggling at 104/3 after 22 overs. M Stoinis(29), who gave good support to Shaun Marsh in the fifth wicket later surrendered to Shami.
For India, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Ravindra Jadeja got one wicket each while Mohammed Shami scalped two wickets.
Earlier Australia won the toss and elected to bat first.
