India's Rohit Sharma made another ton in the Sydney against Australia in the first ODI match on Saturday.
This was Rohit Sharma's 22nd century. Wicket keeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni also made a half century in the third wicket partnership along with Rohit Sharma. At 51, Dhoni lost his wicket.
Chasing a winning target of 289, India lost three early wickets in the first three overs. But soon, Rohit and Dhoni built a spectacular partnership in the third wicket and brought back India’s fight against Australia. After Dhoni succumbed to LBW, India lost another quick wicket of Dinesh Karthik.
Earlier, Australia, who won the toss and elected to bat, made 288 runs in 50 overs.
