Following the historic collapse of Australian batting, Indian batsmen also crashed in the second innings and ended at a meager 54/5 at the end of the third day of the third test against Australia on Friday at Melbourne Cricket Ground(MCG).

Mayank Agarwal(28) and Rishab Pant(6) were batting and India led Australia by 346 runs at stumps on day 3. Earlier on the day, a batting collapse had ended the Australian first innings at 151 all-out.

But India could not survive the Australian pace attack with a good bounce this time. Very soon, Indian opener Vihari (13) edged a bouncer from Cummins to gully for Khawaja t o take the catch. Pujara(0) also falied to repeat the same prowess in batting and fell for a duck as he edged to leg slip for Harris to take the catch off Cummins.

Indian Captain Virat Kohli also fell for a duck as he edged a Cummins delivery to leg gully for Harris to take the catch. Following which Rohit Sharma(5) too edged a Hazlewood delivery to first slip for Shaun Marsh to take the catch.

Rahane edged a Cummins delivery down the leg side for Paine to take the catch. Pat Cummins scalped four crucial Indian wickets.
