In Perth test, India aiming the victory target of 287 runs failed to find rhythm as its main five wickets have lost within 100 runs.

India are now struggling to 112/5. To snatch a win from the jaw of Australia, India need 175 runs more. When the fourth day ended, Hanuma Vihari (24) and Wicket Keeper Rishab Pant(9) are now at crease.

Australia are almost in commanding position at the end of the fourth day as the team need only five wickets to register a victory against India. In the four test match series India has already won the first test and lead 1-0.

Earlier, India lost its opener KL Rahul in the very first over. Cheteshwar Pujara also could not make a resistance. At lunch, India was struggling to 15/2. After lunch, the attempt to regain confidence by Indian lost Virat Kohli(17) and Vijay(20) also ended in vein. Ajinkya Rahane(30) succeeded to make a resistance but soon becoming a victim of Hazlewood.

Australia finished its second innings by scoring a lead of 286 runs. Usman Khawaja(72) was the top scorer for Australia.
