Bhubaneswar, Dec 1: After the winning start Indian team looking confident to face the Belgium in the Pool league match of the Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup on Sunday hete at Kalinga Stadium.

"We consider the match against Belgium will be our pre-qaterfinal match, we will make efforts to reduce the unforced error caused during our first match against South Africa. Our efforts will be to keep the ball in the centre and play the attacking hockey, said Indian Chief Coach Harendra Singh in pre-match Press Meet here on Saturday.

Belgium's are very good in circle penetrations and they use to play vertical hockey for which we are well prepared.We never considered the home crowd is a pressure for us, they are our twelth man. We will not allow any teams to dominate us, added Harendra.

"I am happy with my new position and enjoying the role of link man for my team. My coach advised me to play in the mid-field. Which is also a vital place for the team to score as well as make new move, " said forward turned midfielder Akashdeep Singh. (UNI)
