New Delhi, Nov 9: To keep their fast bowlers "geared up" for Australia tour, Indian cricket team management has decided to give rest to their premium fast bowlers Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, and chinaman Kuldeep Yadav for third T20I match against West Indies, scheduled for November 11 in Chennai, a BCCI statement said on Friday. Meanwhile, the management has recalled Siddarth Kaul in the squad.
The statement read,'The Indian team management has decided to rest Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav from the upcoming third Paytm T20I against the Windies in Chennai. The decision has been made to allow the trio to be in the best physical condition ahead of India’s tour to Australia.'
'The All-India Senior Selection Committee has added Siddarth Kaul to India’s squad for the final T20I,' the statement added.
India is leading the three-match series by 2-0 against the visitors. In the absence of Virat Kohli, who has been rested for the series, Rohit Sharma is leading the charge.
