Rome, Nov 8: Two late goals courtesy of Juan Mata and Alex Sandro's own goal were enough for Manchester United to register a comeback 2-1 win against Juventus in the Champions League at Allianz Stadium, Turin, Italy on Wednesday.
In second half, Cristiano Ronaldo broke the deadlock in 65th minute as he had put the hosts ahead with an outstanding volley against his former club. It was Ronaldo's first goal with Juventus in the Champions Leauge.
Jose Mourinho's side were not posing any threat until substitute Mata beat goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny with a well-placed free-kick from the edge of the box in the 86th minute, giving the United equaliser.
Three minutes later, another free-kick from United put Juventus under pressure as Alex Sandro's touch went into his own goal in 89th minute, giving the United a 2-1 win.
The visitors' late goals helped them to stay in second position in their Group H with two matches still to play in Champions league.
However, Juventus still on the top in the points table with three wins and one defeat in their four matches. (UNI)
