Jammu, Oct 5: Days after a senior official called it a day, two more officials on Friday resigned as committee members of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association.
As per sources, two committee members from Kashmir Zone resigned from the cricketing body alleging that they were never taken on board by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) JKCA Ashiq Bukahri while taking some important decisions.
Earlier one of the senior officials Sham Swaroop Kalsotra from Jammu had resigned from the JKCA.
There were total four committee members headed by the CEO out of which three have resigned and one from Jammu—a retired judge is still acting as a committee member.
The committee members resigned on Friday namely Shiban Lal Trakroo and Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, alleged that they were associated with the JKCA to run the affairs of the association till the elections, adding, “The High Court also appointed an ombudsman giving them time frame of two months and mandate to settle the disputes of some clubs affiliated to the association.
