Dubai, Sep 25: Afghanistan captain Asghar Afghan won toss and opted to bat against India on Tuesday.

India have already sealed their place in the final of the Asia Cup with successive wins over Bangladesh and Pakistan. India will now Afghanistan in the final match of the Super Four stage at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. India is the only unbeaten team in the tournament so far.

The Indian team management might give rest some to the main players ahead of the final. Lokesh Rahul and Manish Pandey could get a look-in in the middle order, while medium pacers Siddharth Kaul and Deepak Chahar could replace Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah to give much-needed rest before the final. Deepak Chahar will be making his ODI debut. On the other hand, having lost both their Super Four matches so far, Afghanistan are already out of contention for the final but their performances have impressed cricket fans.
