London, Sep 11: As India struggling with 58 for 3, England now need just 7 wickets to win their 4th match of the series. Adding 406 runs is almost an impossible target for India for a win against England.
English bowlers Anderson and Broad wrecked havoc in the first five overs to remove Dhawan, Pujara and Kohli. Kohli wicket was a big blow for Indian hopes. He was removed by Broad’s enticing full ball way outside off. Kohli reaches out of it, unlike his previous innings. He edges it to Bairstow and Broad runs in celebration.
Now Rahul (19*) and Rahane's (8*) partnership moves on to 26 off 28 balls. It will be a big job for KL Rahul and Rahane to ensure that India does not suffer any more hiccups.
Earlier the fourth day was a Perfect day for England which came to an end with Alastair Cook getting yet another standing ovation from the fans at The Oval. After resuming at 114/2 the duo forged an emphatic 200-run stand to take the game away from India. England finally declared their innings on 423/8, lead by 463 and setting a target for 464 for India to win the match. (UNI)
