India A gains 31-run lead against Australia A

Bengaluru, Sep 3: Following is the scoreboard on the second day of the unofficial ‘test’ played between India A and Australia A at M Chinnswamy Stadium here on Monday.

In reply to Australia A first innings core of 243, middle order batsman Bawne, who was sent down at number five, batted resolutely but was left with no partners as India A were bundled out for 274 in 83.1 overs. However he ensured that the hosts gained a morale boosting lead.

In the second innings Australia A Bolstered with some top batsmen were 42 for 1 in 16 overs at draw of stumps.
