Dubai, Sept 3: Indian skipper Virat Kohli continues to enjoy top spot in the ICC latest Test Rankings released on Monday, despite facing series defeat against England in the fourth Test at Southampton on Sunday.
Kohli also achieved a career-high 937 points. He scored 46 and 58 in two innings of the Southampton Test to take his series tally up to 544 runs – 284 more than second-placed Jose Buttler’s 260.
Another Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara also continued to remain static at no 6th with 798 points after scoring 132 unbeaten in the first innings at Southampton.
England's Moeen Ali, Jos Buttler and Sam Curran also moved up in the rankings charts after England’s series-clinching 60-run victory over India at Ageas Bowl. (UNI)
