Virat Kohli made a spectacular century in the second innings in the third test match against England at Trent Bridge and India gained an unassailable lead of 450 runs against England.
This is Indian skipper Virat Kohli's 23rd Test century. He had missed a century in the first innings by three runs. Virat Kohli's partnerships with Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane were crucial for Indian getting into such a strong position.
Resuming the third day batting at 194/2, Pujara and Kohli started the session with some beautifully crafted shots before Pujara (72) was dismissed by Stokes. Later, Rahane joined hands with Kohli and forged an unbeaten 64-run partnership before umpires called for the break.
In the third test, India is making an unbelievable comeback fight after tasting two losses in the first two test matches against England in five Test series.
