New Delhi, Aug 11: Ahead of 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the National Capital will host the Combined ISSF World Cup, the upshot emphasising the country's importance in shooting.
This would be the seventh continental or global multi-nation shooting competition to be staged in the country since 2012.
The International Shooting Sport Federation’s Combined World Cup involves events in rifle, pistol and shotgun.
The decision was taken in principle at the ISSF’s ongoing Executive Committee meeting in Vienna and conveyed to National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) president Raninder Singh, who attended the meeting. (UNI)
